Shipping & Delivery

1)      All risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you when the goods are handed over. At the time of your transaction, we offer the option to pick up, have local delivery, or receive via post on select items.

2)      Any damage after the goods have been received falls solely on the customer. Woof Gateaux will not take responsibility if the goods are damaged after receipt.

3)      Requests to leave Cakes Unattended -If you request that cakes or other goods, be left unattended at the delivery location, Woof Gateaux cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, melting, or deterioration once the delivery has been completed. We will take reasonable care at the time of delivery and, where possible, place items out of direct sunlight. However, once the goods are left unattended, responsibility for their condition passes to the owner of the cake or goods, including how long they remain outside and the surrounding conditions.
For best results, we strongly recommend that a suitable cold box or insulated container is provided for us to place the goods into upon delivery.
By instructing us to leave items unattended, you acknowledge and accept that Woof Gateaux takes responsibility and this is done at your own risk.

4)      Woof Gateaux only takes responsibility for deliveries made by our own local Sydney delivery driver. They check all delivery items before handing them over and often take photos to show the goods are in the same condition as when they left the bakery.

5)      Woof Gateaux takes no responsibility for any third-party delivery service used while your goods are in transit. This includes lost or stolen items and any delays in postal time frames.

6)      All third-party delivery companies used are the responsibility of the customer. Once the goods are handed over, Woof Gateaux will take no further responsibility for their services. Any further actions required will be taken up with the service provider by the customer.

7)      All orders are selected with a due date. Woof Gateaux reserves the right to change, move, or reschedule an order delivery without reason. Customers will be notified if there are any changes made to an order due date.

8)      Woof Gateaux is unable to take responsibility for anything out of our control. You agree not to hold Woof Gateaux or any sister partners responsible for their services in any way. We take no liability for the way third-party services conduct themselves. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
